ONCEs are loving Jeongyeon’s style in the music video, which is a big change from her styles before she returned after a hiatus due to her herniated disc and anxiety. The stylists definitely deserve a raise.
1. Jeongyeon’s Voice Jeongyeon Talk That Talk
Jeongyeon is the best singer in TWICE, she’s very consistent and can hit any note she wants to. She is a Soprano with a dark coloratura and medium texture. Jeongyeon is also known for her powerful vocals and her ability to belt, she doesn’t have the largest range but she can easily go from a whisper to a scream with ease.
Nayeon is the second best singer in TWICE and she has such a beautiful tone. She can be a bit nasal at times but that’s what makes her voice so unique and special. Nayeon is a Soprano with smokiness and an open chest type of voice. She can easily belt and she’s also very stable, which is important for a girl group to be able to sing well together.
Mina is the third best singer in TWICE and she’s a Soprano with a deep timbre and an open chest. She can be a little shy when singing, but she has such a beautiful tone that you can’t help but love her. Mina is a good singer but she could use a little work on her technique and confidence.
Jihyo is the fourth best singer in TWICE and she’s also a Soprano with a husky and dark timbre. She can be a little inconsistent sometimes, but she’s always so great when it comes to singing live. Jihyo is the most energetic member of TWICE and she can slay any song with her amazing vocals and charisma.
2. The Music Video Jeongyeon Talk That Talk
Last August 26, TWICE released their newest mini album Between 1&2 with the lead single Talk that Talk. The music video is a mix of retro Y2K and cyber world with the music itself being refreshingly addictive leaving you wanting to listen to it more and more.
The girls have wowed fans with their amazing choreography and cute outfits for the new music video. While some of the outfits have received a lot of hate from the fans (specifically Jeongyeon’s blue trousers) most agree that the overall style of the outfit looks great on her.
Another aspect of the music video that fans have been raving about is how well the girls dance together. TWICE is known for their fun and upbeat dances, and the choreography in the music video for Talk that Talk is no exception. The choreography is synchronized perfectly and the girls are all having so much fun while performing.
TWICE’s first comeback after their contract renewal also includes an empowering message about mental health. In a recent cover story interview with NME, the group opened up about their struggles with anxiety and how it has affected them over time. They also spoke about their decision to be open and honest about the issue in a way that is unique among K-pop idols.
It has been a great comeback for TWICE, with their new song Talk that Talk topping numerous charts. They have also made history as the only K-pop girl group to have two albums debut in the top three of the Billboard 200. The first of the two was their 2021 album Formula of Love: O+T=3 which debuted at number 3 and remained on the chart for eight weeks.
3. Nayeon’s Outfit Jeongyeon Talk That Talk
After finishing off Twice’s 4th World Tour, Nayeon made her solo debut with IM NAYEON on June 24, and she did not disappoint. With her sultry and sophisticated style, the center of TWICE showed off a whole new side to her. Her dazzling solo music videos paired with a vast range of aesthetics, from femme fatale tech-wear to fairytale-esque dresses.
Throughout the album teasers, Nayeon dazzled in several outfits, including a repurposed Louis Vuitton towel bodysuit. She also rocked a red logo school girl skirt from VETEMENTS and a purple lace cotton bodysuit from Nodress for a look that is adventurous, modern, and intimidating. Nayeon’s cow print look in Concept Photo 2 was another highlight, exhibiting her 21st century take on the classic cowgirl aesthetic.
Aside from her co-ord sets, Nayeon’s MV wardrobe also featured a number of other summer-ready looks. For a music video scene that saw her dancing on a platform, she wore a lemon tiered tulle dress that evoked Tinker Bell-esque fairycore vibes. She paired the outfit with yellow ribbons, pink earrings, gold hoop earrings, and two low buns for an overall sexy yet feminine vibe.
Nayeon’s wardrobe also drew inspiration from high-fashion brands, especially the designer brand Chaumet. Several of her behind-the-scenes photos featured her wearing a silver choker from the line, which she also wore on her first solo performance date. In another concept photo, she paired a lavender blouse with jacquard belted mini shorts and black lace items to create an elegant, ethereal look. She completed the set with a pair of strappy sandals and her signature ring. The whole ensemble exuded confidence and sexiness, proving that Nayeon’s style is as versatile as her musicality.
4. Chaeyoung’s Outfit Jeongyeon Talk That Talk
Chaeyoung is one of the most unique members in TWICE, both as a singer and as an artist. Her individuality shows through her personal artwork and fashion style, and fans love it.
However, her fashion choices have caused controversy in the past. In March 2023, she wore a shirt with a swastika design on the tilted version of the Nazi symbol during her performance on MBC’s Music Core and in pictures uploaded on her Instagram account. It was soon discovered that the swastika was an altered version of the “Q” logo, referencing the far-right political movement QAnon.
The shirt’s controversy prompted netizens to call out TWICE’s stylist, as the tilted version of the Nazi symbol is considered a racist icon. However, Chaeyoung was quick to apologize for her mistake, saying that she was unaware of the significance of the t-shirt’s design and that she will take greater care in the future.
In addition to being a talented singer, Chaeyoung is also an excellent rapper and writes many of the group’s rap lyrics. She has the most songwriting credits of any TWICE member and even wrote a rap for Rihanna.
In the MV for Talk That Talk, Chaeyoung looks chic in her white outfit, including a cropped corset-like top paired with a high-waist skirt. She accessorizes her look with lace arm warmers and a tattered stocking for an extra touch of sexiness. She also braids her hair to add a little cuteness to her overall look.
5. Jihyo’s Outfit Jeongyeon Talk That Talk
Jihyo oozed girl boss vibes in her moody outfit. She wore a strapless denim jumpsuit that puts an edgy spin on girly glam. It features a modified plaid print and shirred trims for a flattering silhouette. She paired it with black combat boots for a mashup of pin-up and punk goddess energy. She finished off her look with loose double braids and a gold-tone layered necklace and earrings.
The other members of TWICE also looked stunning in their outfits for “Talk That Talk.” Nayeon radiated confidence and femininity in her Jade Cropper layered maxi dress. The body-hugging silhouette featured a high slit and peaky cutouts for a sexy touch. She topped off her look with sparkly dangling earrings and a matching white handbag.
Jeongyeon also looked beautiful in her Raf Simons tee. The punk-style shirt had logo patches and distinct hem cuts for added novelty. She wore it with blue jeans and a pair of brown cowboy boots for a laid-back look.
More Words
Jihyo’s fashion choices for this music video have impressed ONCEs. They had previously been worried that she would struggle to adapt her style to her new figure after her hiatus due to her herniated disc and anxiety. But they are happy to see that she is able to pull off her usual outfits even after gaining weight. In addition, she looks more confident than ever before. ONCEs are also praising Twice’s stylist for knowing how to showcase Jeongyeon’s curves. This is a big contrast to past videos where they were criticizing the stylist for making her dresses too baggy and unflattering. They are happy that she is finally getting outfits that are made to show off her figure.
